Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education
The Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) is the largest provider of higher education in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and a large public university system in the United States.
Dixon University Center
Originally the home of the Harrisburg Academy and then the University Center at Harrisburg, the site and its five historic buildings was purchased by the State System in 1991. It provides a hub for State System operations and for universities to serve the Harrisburg community through a variety of programs.

The J. Benjamin Wiley Partnership Program was an innovative initiative targeted towards “at risk” high school students, or students who had the mindset that they weren’t good enough or capable of entering college after graduation. This direct mail toolkit was distributed state-wide to high school counselors to share with their students. Students accepted into the program would spend a week at a PASSHE university to experience campus life.

PAthways for Career Success was a PASSHE initiative for Pennsylvania High School students introducing them to specialized workforce opportunities (like STEM.) The program guided students in building a PAthway to their career. Students would use the 2+2+2 approach; (2 yr) Jr. and Sr. year in high school, option for (2 yr) associates degree and (2yr) finishing bachelor’s degree.
(PAthway = Pennsylvania–thway)

Part of the phase two regional integrated marketing campaign, I used the graphic standards to refresh area outdoor boards and print advertising. Using a system of fixed and flexible elements allowed for the Brand to be consistent, but also remain fresh. The objective was to drive traffic to the new website – we were successful, first-time visits increased by nearly 70%.
